It started on Friday morning, a nasty sore throat and... There was one Strepsil left in the house. Had I bothered to be a regular blogger, then regular readers of this will know that I am addicted to Strepsils. However, I'm not a regular blogger and there are no regular readers, so that will remain a closely guarded secret.
I digress... by Saturday my chest was gurgling and by this morning it was a complete head cold - sore throat, gurgling chest, sore head, sniffy nose. I have upgraded from Strepsils to Lemsip. And the opportunity to wallow in self pity by taking a day off was taken, along with half the staff who appear to have the same thing.
Daytime TV is enough to break anybody's spirit and send even the dying back to work. Strangely, Saturday night TV has the same effect on me!
So there you have it. From the symptoms above I am clearly suffering from Sars.

The First Blog
So here I am making my first ever blog post. No doubt in line with 95% of other blogs, it'll also be my last.
I suppose it is fair to say that I have now reached that boredom stage of my life. I've already done all the interesting things I wanted to do, and coincidentally had no time to write about them whilst I was busy doing them.
So next time something good happens, I'll let you know. But for now, I wont bore you with the details of how tonight I set up a Blog from my sofa, simply because nothing was on the telly.
